After the first appearance, many believed Rock'n'Roll was a fad that wasn't to last very long. The period of 1958-1963 was like a romantic hangover of the clean cut, well dressed, well behaved  teen idols. But Rock'n'Roll wasn't dead or going away, just a little dormant for a while.
